2008 Holiday Fundraising Luncheon

On Friday, December 5th we held our 4th annual Holiday Luncheon at the Binghamton Country Club.  It was a great success with over 100 people attending the event and through the generous donations of individuals, families and businesses, A Room to Heal, Inc. raised over $7,000.

Board members gave a review of A Room to Heal’s goals and objectives for the past year and shared ways that our mission has enriched the lives of local children as well our their own lives.  A new video was produced showcasing all the rooms that we’ve completed since our inception.  This year we had tissues available on all the tables and they came in handy.  Several room recipient families shared their stories and how the projects and the volunteers touched their hearts and created a healing environment that benefited the entire family.
The event was planned by board members, Lynn Orlando, Anne Strahm, Janet Levine and Anna Addonisio.
