2007 Holiday Fundraising Luncheon

A Room to Heal, Inc. held it’s 2007 Holiday Fundraising Luncheon at the Binghamton Country Club on December 5, 2007.  Board members Lynn Orlando, Kelly Ford and Anna Cornell “wowed us” with a lovely event fought with beautiful flower centerpieces, delicious foods donated by area businesses, and an inspirational presentation. 

The over 70 people who attended the event this year were surprised with a special treat: a lovely song sung by one of our room children, Macey King.  It was so wonderful.  In addition, a new video was shown depicting A Room to Heal volunteers and events, and video footage and photos of the children and families we have been able to serve.  All agreed that next year we need a box of tissues on each table.

The luncheon was extremely successful and through the generous donations of individuals, families and businesses, A Room to Heal, Inc. raised over $7,000, enough to secure funding for at least 2-3 more rooms in the coming year.
